How to use Add Line Numbers to Text

Paste or type multiple lines of text into the input box.
Choose a number format, such as 1, 01, 001, A, or a.

Set the start number, skip empty lines, and trim line spaces if needed.

Number format guide

The number format controls how the number appears at the beginning of each line. The separator controls what appears between the number and the original text.
